Privacy policy
This English version is provided for convenience. In the event of any inconsistency, the German version shall prevail: /datenschutz.
Privacy and information security from the outset
Magnetic Fields considers privacy and information security already at the stage of conception, development and technical delivery of this website. We follow the principles of Privacy by Design, Privacy by Default and Security by Design.
We limit the processing of personal data to what is necessary for the secure operation of the website and for communication requested by you. We do not use analytics tools, user tracking, advertising networks, social-media plugins, external form services or similar data-intensive functions.
Technical resources are provided locally within the website wherever possible. Changes to the website are reviewed to determine whether they introduce additional processing, external data transfers or added risks for visitors.
We deliberately do not use a contact form. Instead, we provide an email link. This allows you to decide if, when and with what content you wish to contact us via your own email application. The email address shown on the website is protected by suitable technical measures against simple automated harvesting by web crawlers while preserving usability and accessibility.
Our understanding of privacy
We treat privacy not as a formal compliance exercise but as an integral part of sound system architecture.
Our goal is to avoid collecting personal data unless it is necessary for providing our services. New functions are assessed during design to determine whether they cause additional processing and whether more privacy-friendly alternatives exist.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for processing personal data in connection with this website is:
Peter BongersWebereistraße 29

Email: hallo@magnetic-fields.de
2. Scope
This privacy policy applies to the processing of personal data when visiting the Magnetic Fields website and when contacting us via the email address provided.
For external websites linked from this site, the respective providers' privacy notices apply.
This policy reflects the current technical setup of the website: statically delivered pages without analytics, tracking, external web fonts, contact form or directly embedded third-party content.
3. Data-processing principles
The website is designed for data minimisation.
In particular, it uses:
- no analytics or audience measurement services,
- no personal user tracking,
- no advertising or marketing technologies,
- no externally embedded web fonts,
- no social-media plugins,
- no contact form,
- no comment function,
- no newsletter registration,
- no embedded maps,
- no directly embedded videos from external platforms,
- no automated profiling.
4. Website provision and hosting
This website is hosted by:
IONOS SEElgendorfer Straße 57
56410 Montabaur
Deutschland
The hosting product used is IONOS VPS Linux M+.
To deliver the website to your device, technically necessary connection data must be processed, including your IP address.
Server log files may include:
- date and time of access,
- page or file requested,
- amount of data transferred,
- HTTP status code,
- referrer URL,
- browser type and version,
- operating system,
- IP address,
- requesting internet service provider.
Processing serves to provide the website, maintain stability, troubleshoot technical issues, defend against attacks and investigate security-relevant incidents.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in secure, stable and proper operation of the website.
IONOS processes hosting data on our behalf. A data-processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR exists with IONOS SE (concluded on 24 July 2026).
5. Retention period for server logs
As the website runs on a virtual server, retention depends on server and logging configuration.
Log data is retained only as long as needed for secure and functional operation, error analysis, and detection/investigation of technical security incidents.
Data may be retained longer in individual cases where concrete evidence indicates a security incident, unlawful access or misuse, and only for as long as necessary for investigation, evidence preservation or legal claims.
6. Encrypted transmission
The connection between your browser and this website is encrypted via HTTPS.
7. Cookies and device access
This website does not set cookies itself.
It also does not use technologies that store information on your device or access device-stored information for analytics, advertising, tracking or profiling.
For this reason, no cookie consent banner is currently displayed.
8. Locally provided resources
Fonts, design elements, scripts and similar resources are provided directly by the website or its hosting environment wherever possible.
No connection is made to external font providers when loading pages.
Other technical resources are likewise not loaded from third-party servers unless functionally necessary.
9. Contact by email
An email address is provided for contact. This is an email link, not a contact form.
When contacting us by email, we may process your email address, name if provided, message content, any attachments, and technical metadata associated with email communication.
Processing is carried out to handle your request and communicate with you. Depending on context, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual/contractual communication) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling incoming enquiries).
10. Recipients of data
In operating the website, IONOS SE as hosting provider and processor may receive access to technically required data.
In email communication, personal data may also be processed by providers involved in transmission and delivery.
We do not sell personal data and do not disclose it for advertising purposes.
11. Transfers to third countries
This website currently does not intentionally integrate analytics, marketing, social-media or similar third-party services that transfer personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA when pages are loaded.
If, exceptionally, a service provider performs processing in a third country, the provider must comply with Articles 44 et seq. GDPR.
12. External links
This website may contain links to websites operated by other providers. When you open such links, you leave the Magnetic Fields website.
13. Retention and deletion
Personal data is deleted once it is no longer required for its purpose and no statutory retention duty or other legal basis applies.
14. Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure and alteration, taking into account processing context and risk.
15. Data subject rights
Subject to legal conditions, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, withdrawal of consent and objection.
To exercise your rights, contact: hallo@magnetic-fields.de
